Professional Real Estate Inspector (TREC) — In-Person | 194 Hours | Houston, TX

Train for the Texas Professional Inspector license level with a comprehensive in-person program that includes the required Texas Practicum. This track is designed for students who want to become eligible to inspect without needing a sponsor.
Duration: 194 Hours (TREC minimum required)
Includes Qualifying Education + 40-Hour Texas Practicum (delivered over multiple class meetings—see schedule for exact dates/times)
What you’ll learn
By the end of this program, students will be able to:
- Apply Texas inspection standards and professional practice requirements at the Professional level
- Strengthen inspection methodology, documentation, and report-writing accuracy
- Recognize and communicate deficiencies across residential building systems
- Complete the required Texas Practicum for hands-on competency
- Understand the responsibilities and expectations of working independently as a Professional Inspector
